Agency President, Mark F. Smith was born in Chicago, Illinois, but raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Educated at St. Thomas grade school, Forest Hills High School, Grand Rapids Community College and Michigan State University. Graduating from Michigan State University in 1978 with a Bachelors in Business Administration, majoring in risk management/insurance. Continuing education in the insurance field includes being licensed both as a certified insurance counselor and licensed insurance counselor.
Mark began his insurance career in 1979 after graduating from Michigan State University. The first fourteen (14) years were spent with one agency allowing exposure to all agency functions.
Mark remains active in the community by volunteering for various service organizations. He enjoys sports continuing to participate in basketball, softball, and golf. He resides in East Grand Rapids with wife, Kim, daughters, Jennifer and Courtney, and son, Kyle.
